July 1st Group day trip to the House of Worship

The Children’s classes in Milwaukee and Waukesha would like to invite
the community to join them on a day trip to the House of Worship!
**Please pack your own picnic lunch to enjoy at the park.**

Itinerary (all times approximate):
10:00am Meet at Park and Ride: Southwest corner – Lot on south side of
College Ave. and west side of I-94. 1500 W. College ave
12:00 noon arrive at Baha’i House of Worship
12:30pm Afternoon Devotions with Choir in the Temple
1:00-2:30pm Picnic Lunch in Gillson Park (a short walk across the
street)
2:30pm depart
4:00pm arrive back at Southwest corner Park and Ride (I-94 and College
Ave.)
To facilitate drivers and riders, a small registration form is being
provided (contact squarie@yahoo.com ). If your car will be full or
you wish to follow an alternate itinerary, there is no need to
complete the form- we will be happy to see you there!

10th at the UW-Milwaukee Student Union, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd. from
11:30 am to 1:30 pm in Room 347.

There will be a program and refreshments.

Street parking is available or use the garage under the Union entering
off of Kenwood.

“Human Family Reunion” on June 10 in Cedarburg

The Baha’i Community of Cedarburg will host another Human Family Reunion
to celebrate the oneness of mankind on National Race Unity Day, Sunday, June 10 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Cedar Creek Park, N54 W5900 Portland Road in Cedarburg.

The event will include an ice cream social, presentation of the Spirit of Unity Award, children’s activities and music. Please save the date and bring friends – there is no charge for the event.

environmental justice group, has been celebrating April as Interfaith
Earth Month, and recently leading several initiatives, such as the
Faith and Solar, Faithful Rainwater Harvesting ‘FaRaH’, and Faith
Communities for Equitable Solar. How can the unifying powers of
sunlight and water, as sacred gifts, bring people of faith and
spirituality together to build relationships, strengthen community,
and care for Earth, our common home?
