Baha’is, friends, and families:

You are invited to an observance of the Martyrdom of the Bab on Saturday, July 9th. The event will be held at Hawthorne Glen Park, Picnic Shelter #2 from  11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with prayers at 1:00 p.m.

Break out your Baha’i T-shirts and wear your favorite one!

Food: Simply bring a picnic for yourself or something to share.
Enjoy nature. There is a large children’s playground and 3/4 miles of nature trails through woods. One shorter trail loop is entirely paved and flat.

Hawthorne Glen Park is on 60th Street & Martin Drive (just north of State Street.) Vehicles coming via State Street can enter off of 60th Avenue. Coming from Milwaukee Avenue /Vliet St. take Martha Washington Drive and go left on Martin Drive.   Picnic Shelter #2 is behind the nature center building.
People with mobility issues should probably be let off at the at the nature center on the circle drive and then the car driven back to the lot. People needing to use the restrooms may have to climb a few steps.
