To: Baha’is in Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, Waukesha & Walworth Counties, WI
Electoral Unit 068
Warm greetings from The Wauwatosa Local Spiritual Assembly, the host for this year’s
Unit Convention. You will soon receive voting instructions and a paper ballot directly from the National Spiritual Assembly.
Your Participation in this sacred process is vital: “The strength and progress of the Bahá’í community depend upon the election of pure, faithful and active souls…”
(Shoghi Effendi). Participation is a duty enjoined on every believer.
Purpose of the election is to vote for ONE delegate to the 2021 National Convention, for Unit 068. In the past (2019) our delegate election participation rate was 26.99%. With the two options for voting: online voting or via paper ballot, we are hoping to boost that participation rate significantly. Your vote for a delegate relates to the election of the National Spiritual Assembly at the annual National Conference.
Voting Materials: The election call mailing with voting instructions and paper ballots
will be sent out from the National Center in early September.
Options for voting:
• On Line Balloting System (OBS) Preferred method*
• Paper Ballots (Please mail by 9/18 if possible)
Paper ballots are still welcome. The ballot must be received at the post office box by October 2nd, 3 p.m. Address paper ballots to: Wauwatosa LSA,
P.O. Box 667, Elm Grove, WI 53122-0667.
OBS: Every believer with an email address on file in the Baha’i National database and who currently receives the Feast letter by email can easily vote from their smartphone or computer. If you have an email and are not currently receiving the Feast letter, please contact membership@usbnc.org 847-733-3445 to resubscribe.
We look forward to your participation in strengthening the bonds of our Baha’i community. If you have any questions, please contact
